Interview tomorrow at 10. Office, but kind of creative. I keep changing my mind.
Clean trousers, a soft knit or a crisp shirt, and the shoes you can walk in without thinking.
Then one thing that feels like you. Small earrings, a color you love near your face.
So… not a full suit?
Only if a suit feels like you. Tomorrow you want to look ready, not dressed up ☾
The night before an interview, the closet becomes a place of doubt. Too much? Too casual? Will they notice the shoes? The truth is that the best interview outfit is the one that disappears, so the person across the table only sees you.
Dress one step above the place
Look at how people there actually dress, on their site or their social pages, and go one small step more polished. If they wear jeans, you wear clean trousers. If they wear trousers, you add a blazer. That small step says you took the day seriously without making you look like a guest at your own meeting.
Choose calm, then add one warm note
Navy, camel, soft grey, ivory, chocolate. Calm colors let your face and your words lead. Then add one warm note near your face: a knit in a color that makes you look rested, a pair of small gold earrings, a lip you love.
Fit over everything
Sit down in it before you decide. Lean forward, cross your legs, reach for a glass of water. If anything pulls, gapes or rides up, it will steal your attention halfway through an answer. A simple piece that fits beautifully beats an impressive one that doesn't.
Lay it all out tonight
Clothes, shoes, bag, the copy of your CV, a hair tie just in case. Tomorrow morning should be about breakfast and a deep breath, not about which top.
You already did the hard part. Now let the outfit carry you in ♡
